
Materials
- 4mm hook
- medium 4 weight cotton yarn in 2 colors
- Yarn needle
- Scissors
- Measuring tape
- Stitch marker if needed
Abbreviations
- Ch – chain
- Sc – single crochet
- Dc – double crochet
- Sl st – slip stitch
Pattern
- Row 1
- Make a magic ring, ch 1
- make 6 sc inside the magic ring
- sl st to the 1st sc at the beginning of the row
- pull middle string to tighten magic ring
- Row 2
- ch 2, make a dc in the same space
- make 2 dc in the next space
- continue making 2 dc in each space all the way around
- sl st to the 1st dc of the row
- Row 3
- ch 2, make a dc in the same space
- make 2 dc in the next space
- continue making 2 dc in each space all the way around
- sl st to the 1st dc of the row
- Row 4
- ch 1, make a sc in the same space
- make 2 sc in the next space
- 1 sc in the next space
- 2 sc in the next space
- 1 sc in the next space (continue alternating this way to the end of the row)
- tip: the last space should need 2 sc
- once you reach the end of your row, sl st to the 1st sc of the row
- tie off & weave in your ends!
