Materials
- 4.5mm hook
- Hair ties
- medium 4 weight yarn in 2 colors
- Yarn needle
- Scissors
- Measuring tape
- Stitch marker if needed
Abbreviations
- Ch – chain
- Sc – single crochet
- Dc – double crochet
- Tr- Treble crochet
- Sl st – slip stitch
Pattern (approx. 10 minutes)
- make a slip knot & attach to a hair tie with a sc
- sc around the hair tie until you cannot fit any more (usually around 40-45 for me)
- sl st to beginning of row, ch 3
- make 2 tr in the same space
- make 3 tr in the next st
- continue making 3 tr in each st around (to switch colors for the last row, change to the next color before finishing the last tr of the row)
- Ch 1, make a sc in the same space
- make a sc in each st around the row
- sl st to the beginning of the row, tie off & weave in ends!
